Missing Northbrook Man, 94, May Be Endangered: Police

UPDATE (10:40 a.m. Feb. 25): Lester Gordon has been located safe and sound.

"We want to thank everyone for their help in bring Lester home safely," Northbrook Police Department said.

NORTHBROOK, IL — A 94-year-old Northbrook man has been reported missing and may be endangered, according to police in a social media post. Lester Gordon was last seen at around 4 p.m. Thursday in the area of Landwehr Road and Cherry Lane.

Gordon was traveling in a gold 2012 Buick Regal with Illinois license plate of XH124. Gordon was supposed to be on his way to Skokie to get a haircut. A SILVER alert has been issued for the above vehicle.

Gordon, who is white, is 5-foot-4, with brown eyes and gray hair.
