Music for the Holidays with Northbrook Symphony Orchestra

Northbrook Symphony Orchestra will perform a special holiday concert featuring the Chicago Children's Choir

The Northbrook Symphony will host a special holiday concert, Music for the Holidays, featuring the Chicago Children’s Choir on Sunday, Dec. 6 with two performances at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Chapel of the Holy Spirit at Techny Towers in Northbrook.

The repertoire for Music in the Holidays includes: A Christmas Festival by Leroy Anderson; The First Noel by Carmen Dragon; Waltz of the Snowflakes from The Nutcracker; and Final Scene from Hansel and Gretel by Humperdinck.

“The message of this concert comes straight from the heart and is designed, perhaps a bit boldly, to offer our audiences with a rare opportunity to get back in touch with the cherished sense of calm, warmth and security that seems to be forgotten during our current holiday festivities,” said NSO Music Director Lawrence Rapchak.
