North Shore National Puppy Day Submissions

We now have quite a few photos shared by Patch readers on National Puppy Day (March 23). Puppy Day is turning in to Puppy Week on the North Shore!

Burt is a Jack Russell-Rat Terrier mix who has brought joy and mischief to his home. He was adopted from Orphans of the Storm and loves to play at the dog park in Northbrook.

Another picture, Collins (aka Dogzilla), is of another Northbrook pooch shared with us Monday night.

We know there are many more adorable puppies in the area just like Burt. Send their photos along to become part of this story and a Patch photo gallery.

Two more photos were sent in from Michael, another reader later on Monday.

One photo was sent via a Twitter call out using the trending hashtag, #NationalPuppyDay

DaisyRose Diamond is an 11-year-old Maltese and the love of her family. “Her personality is heart warming and she loves to participate in all family holidays. As she wishes everyone a Happy Passover. Her gentleness and sincere kindness has soothed our family while recovering from serious illnesses. She is always by our sides with her cuddly little body,” her owner states.

Another is of Daisy, sent in by reader Sandra. Daisy is a seven month old goldendoodle who keeps Sandra going after surviving stage 4 cancer.
