New Exhibit at the NSYMCA through November

Exhibit features photographers and artists from Chicagoland in Photography

Northbrook, IL: November 2024 – North Suburban YMCA’s Community Gallery is showcasing a group of local artists called Chicagoland in Photography throughout the month of November. All of the work featured will be for sale with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Visual Arts department of the NSYMCA.

Chicagoland in Photography is a group of photographers who have been meeting for the past seven years to develop their photography skills and techniques.

The group meets weekly to photograph a specified Chicago area location, landmark or activity. Each artist brings their perspective to the project, resulting in many interpretations of an assigned subject. On alternate weeks the group also reviews the prior week’s assignment including comments and critiques of the individual images.
