NORTHBROOK, IL — Community TIES is a new childcare program offered by the Northbrook Park District to assist children with remote learning days. The program is for students in Kindergarten through eighth grade and is held at the Northbrook Sports Center, 1730 Pfingsten Road, Northbrook.

The caring and experienced program staff members provide supervision as well as assistance for virtual learning lessons. A low staff to child ratio of 1:10 is maintained, according to a release.

In addition to the academic support provided to assist children in their remote classrooms, the program offers a variety of additional opportunities as well. From games and sports to arts and crafts children enjoy a full day of academic and recreational activities.
