No Injuries in Northbrook House Fire

Blaze began in attic of one of village's largest homes.

Firefighters from Northbrook, Northfield and Glenview worked Monday morning to put out an attic fire at one of the biggest houses in Northbrook, the Northbrook Star reports.

No one was injured in the blaze that began in the 10,000-square-foot one-story house in the 2200 block of Greenview Road, owned by the Marcus family.

Heavy smoke and fire showing from the roof called the Northbrook Fire Department to the scene around 9 a.m. on Monday. A cause has yet to be determined.
