Northbrook Bank & Trust donates to District 225 Glenbrook Education Foundation

Northbrook Bank & Trust presented the Glenbrook Education Foundation with a donation.

Staying true to its mission of giving back to the local community, Northbrook Bank & Trust presented the Glenbrook Education Foundation with a donation to help provide local, deserving students with scholarships.

“We believe every student should have the opportunity to seek higher education,” said Northbrook Bank & Trust CEO Doug Boersma. “We’re grateful that Glenbrook has organizations, like the Glenbrook Education Foundation, that help area students realize that goal and we’re happy to be able to contribute.”

Vice Chairman Rich Rushkewicz and CEO Doug Boersma presented the $6,000 check on behalf of the bank. Dr. Michael Riggle, superintendent, Glenbrook High School District 225 and Mike Nugent, president, Glenbrook Education Foundation accepted the donation. The Glenbrook Education Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to funding programs and projects that enhance area students’ education.
