Northbrook Burglaries: Trio Arrested, Charged

The three burglars drove from house to house before Northbrook PD caught them red-handed, police say.

NORTHBROOK, IL — Three suspected burglars have been charged after being followed and arrested by officers assigned to the Northbrook burglary task force, police said.

On Jan. 27, police on the task force had been following the three men as they drove around the area, noticing their car stop around 4500 Lindenwood, according to police reports. The officers then noticed one of the men leave the car, approach a house and later return to the car with a cloth bag, Northbrook police said.

Police say they searched the area and found a door had been broken open in one of the houses, at which point officers stopped the suspects' vehicle and found stolen items from the Lindenwood house.
