Northbrook Chamber Presents Business Awards at Annual Meeting

The Chamber honored Reds Garden Center, Waterway Carwash and Robyn Kole in a ceremony on February 25.

Approximately 200 members and guests of the Northbrook Chamber of Commerce gathered for the organization's Annual Meeting & Dinner on Monday, February 25 to celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of its 2019 Business Award Winners. Held at the Hilton Chicago/Northbrook, the event featured presentations by Chamber Board Chair Bob Caldwell of Hallmark Homecare and introductions of the award winners by Harley Korman, Korman/Lederer and Associates.

Reds Garden Center, a Northbrook landmark providing exceptional garden products, design service, and customer advice, was named Business of the Year for its excellence in business practices. Co-owner Cindy Ullrich accepted by award on behalf of Reds, which was founded by her parents 50 years ago. Waterway Carwash received the designation of Corporate Citizen of the Year based on the company's active support of community groups and charitable causes. Waterway Market Leader Jason Young accepted the award on behalf of the company. Finally, the Chamber honored Northbrook resident Robyn Kole as its Volunteer of the Year for her selfless dedication supporting Chamber goals and fellow members.
