Northbrook Community Choir Seeks Singers

Singers will perform at three public performances this winter.

The Northbrook Community Choir is looking for adults who love music and singing to join for the fall season, which begins on September 21. Auditions are not required, and registration is underway.

The choir practices on Monday nights from 7:30-9 p.m. at the Leisure Center, under the direction of Ben Gray, and sings at area venues. The highly regarded group has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and Techny Towers.

“We look forward to a great season with a musically talented group. Both men and women are welcome,” said Drew Kambach, Performing Arts Supervisor with the Northbrook Park District, which manages the choir.

Sunday, November 22 - Holiday Concert with Lake Forest Civic Orchestra at the Gorton Center in Lake

Saturday, December 5 - Holiday Concert at Northbrook Theatre (new seats and floor)

Monday, December 7 - Northbrook Public Library (remodeled auditorium)

“The singers who join us each Monday are passionate about music and want to be a part of something special,” said Ben Gray. “It is a privilege and honor to be leading such a wonderful ensemble.”
