Northbrook Cop Struck By Vehicle While In Patrol Car: Police

NORTHBROOK, IL — A Northbrook police officer, who was inside his marked car, was struck by another motorist. The incident occurred at around 8:40 p.m. Tuesday night, according to a social media post from the Northbrook Police Department

The officer received medical care and was in stable condition at the time of the post.

"Thank you for your support and well wishes to Northbrook’s Officer," Northbrook Police said.

On Friday, police said the officer had been released from medical care.
