Northbrook Crime: Unlicensed DUI Driver On Wrong Side Of Road
Northbrook police reports: March 10-March 16

NORTHBROOK, IL — The following information comes from the Northbrook Police Department as a record of police activity. An arrest is not an indication of guilt and criminal charges can be dropped or reduced. All defendants are innocent until their guilt has been established by a court of law.
DUI
Anthony L. Allerman, 32, of the 800 block of Hawthorne Lane in Northbrook, was cited for three counts of improper lane usage and DUI after being pulled over on the 2000 block of Dundee Road shortly after midnight on the morning of March 16.

Yaa A. Bonsu, 27, of the 6300 block of North Oakley, was arrested on March 15 shortly after 1 a.m for a DUI, illegal turn, no insurance and illegal transportation of alcohol. Police believed her to be under the influence after seeing her commit a traffic violation around the 1000 block of Dundee Road.
Jonathan R. Schaudt, 43, of the 170 block of Linden Street in Winnetka, was arrested for DUI on March 12 shortly before 11 p.m. on March 12. Police received report of a person sleeping in the vehicle. Upon arrival officers found Schaudt sleeping in a running vehicle in the 2300 block of Peachtree Lane. After speaking to him, police believed that he was under the influence and placed him under arrest.

Roberto Chavez, 31, of the 1500 block of Hyde Park in Waukegan, was arrested for felony DUI while unlicensed on March 11 around 1 a.m. Officers observed the defendant’s vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road and stopped it around Dundee Road and Charlemagne Drive. After speaking to the defendant officers determined that he was under the influence and placed him under arrest. Prosecutors approved a felony aggravated DUI complaint against Chavez.
THEFT
On March 12, one man and two women reportedly entered the Macy's store on the 1500 block of Lake Cook Road and stole $2,160.52 worth of Polo merchandise from a display shelf. The theft was reported two days after the initial incident after capturing the three suspects on surveillance video.
SHOPLIFTING
Louise Randle, 33, of the 17400 block of Burnham Avenue in Lansing, was arrested on March 15 for stealing a pair of Gucci sunglasses on Dec. 11 of last year from the Sunglass Hut on the 1500 block of Lake Cook Road. After an investigation police identified her as the person that stole the sunglasses valued at $475. Police got an arrest warrant and Randle turned herself in.
WARRANT ARREST
Daniel J. Aronson, 36, of the 34800 block of Rock Island in Ingleside, was arrested on a contempt of court warrant out of McHenry County on March 12 after being involved in an accident as a passenger.
