Ceremonies at all three village fire stations remember those who lost their lives 14 years ago.
The Northbrook Fire Department honored all those who lost their lives and others who continue to cope with the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 tragedies on Friday.
A ceremony was held at all three fire stations in the village and was attended by village staff and members of the general public.
Following the ceremony, Northbrook Public Safety members were recognized for their continued service efforts by the Astellas Corporation staff, who are volunteering their time to rehab the Cancer Wellness Center at 215 Revere Drive.
