Northbrook Fire Department Open House Set For Oct. 15

Kids of all ages can climb in fire trucks, talk to firefighters, and meet Sparky the Fire Dog, all while learning about fire safety.

Join the Northbrook Fire Department for their annual Open House from 9am to noon on Saturday, October 15. Kids of all ages can climb in fire trucks, talk to firefighters, and meet Sparky the Fire Dog, all while learning about fire safety. This year’s Open House will have a variety of outdoor activities including live displays of fire apparatus and Tactical Rescue Drills including rope repelling and a "jaws of life" demonstration. Free giveaways, snacks, and water will be provided. New for this year, the event is taking place at Fire Station 10 (650 Huehl Road). Parking is available at the Public Works Center and the Center for Deafness.
