Northbrook Man Dies While Skiing In Colorado
The 71-year-old was found unconscious Monday afternoon on the slopes of Breckenridge Ski Resort.

NORTHBROOK, IL — Authorities in Colorado said a Northbrook man died at the Breckenridge Ski Resort Monday. William Haas, 71, was found unconscious on a ski run shortly after 1 p.m., the Summit Daily reported.
There was no indication that Haas had collided with anything, according to the the Summit County Sheriff's Office. He was taken to the Breckenridge Medical Center and pronounced dead.
Summit County Coroner Regan Wood said it appeared Haas died of natural causes, pending the completion of an autopsy, according to the Daily. Haas was the fourth person to die on Summit County ski slopes so far this season. Two suffered from fatal cardiac events and one died after striking a tree.
