Northbrook Murder Suspect To Be Featured On Crime Show
John Panaligan was added to a most wanted fugitive list last year. He is accused of murdering a Northbrook attorney in 2016.

NORTHBROOK, IL — John Panaligan, who is accused of murdering attorney Victor Jigar Patel in his Northbrook office five years ago, will be featured Wednesday, Sept. 22, on the television series, "In Pursuit With John Walsh."
The show airs at 9 p.m. on Investigation Discovery and streaming on discovery+.
With the help of the Northbrook Police Department, Panaligan was added to the United States Marshals Service's 15 Most Wanted fugitive list in November 2020.

Panaligan was a defendant in a fraud case Patel was pursuing at the time of his death. He has been on the run since 2017. He is listed at 5 feet, 5 inches, and weighs roughly about 150 pounds. Panaligan has black hair and brown eyes.
Authorities believe Panligan was attempting to reach the Philippines, but he also has close ties in Illinois, Chicago, Colorado, and Arizona. His last confirmed location was in Durango, Mexico.
