Northbrook Native Creates Women's Clothing Line

Glenbrook North High School graduate Stephanie Radkay is the brains behind Actio926, which offers different types of women's clothes.

A Northbrook native has created an active wear clothing line for women.

Actio926, the Northbrook Star reports, is the product of Stephanie Radkay, who said Actio means “action” and the 926 is a number sequence that has shown up throughout her life.

“Actio926 is all about helping others get and stay active, and connecting close to their heart and sole,” said Radkay, a Glenbrook North High School graduate. “If someone is wearing my brand, it’s my way of giving you a hug and saying, ‘Hey, I’m here. I’m by your side. You’ve got this,’ whether it’s a your first 5K, your first Zumba class, starting a new job, or anything you want to achieve.”

Fabrics and designs were created by Radkay, who now lives in Los Angeles with her husband. Products under the Actio926 line include tops, leggings, pullovers, tanks, jackets, yoga pants and sports bras.
