Dear Northbrook Neighbor,
We know that many people have questions about the Northbrook Caucus, the Town Hall meeting to be held 11/4, and the proposed slate of candidates recommended by the Caucus Committee. In response, we have prepared the linked frequently asked questions (and answers) page, which provides information about the Caucus, the process, and our candidates.
We are delighted that this year, 45 Northbrook residents volunteered to serve on the Caucus from all walks of life. Many of these volunteers engaged with the Caucus for the first time, bringing new perspectives and enthusiasm. Volunteers met and deliberated over long evenings, sacrificing time with families and pushing back trips, motivated by love for our community and respect for the integrity of the Caucus evaluation process.

What’s more, 31 residents submitted candidacy applications for 17 offices up for election in April. This is the most competitive selection process in recent memory and we are so grateful for our candidates.
It is truly a signal of Northbrook’s strength as a community that so many friends and neighbors have answered the call to service.
