Alice Schaffer, nee Forst , age 71, passed away on December 30, 2014 with her family by her side after a long illness.
Loving wife of Donald Schaffer of Northbrook, IL.
Loving mother of Geri (Shawn Hammer) Schaffer, Beth (Sean) Bezark and Michael (Holly) Schaffer .
Proud grandmother of seven grandchildren.
Daughter of the late Emma and Maurice Forst.
She worked in the insurance field for thirty years after teaching preschool and kindergarten for a number of years. She loved needlepoint and playing mahjong with her long time childhood friends.
She had the extraordinary ability to remember everyone she ever met anywhere; even if she only met them once. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Service Thursday 10 a.m. at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 195 North Buffalo Grove Rd (one block North of Lake Cook Rd.), Buffalo Grove. Interment Shalom.
