One highlight is the exquisite Kegelstatt Trio K. 498 by Mozart with Bloom on alto flute “wonderfully smoky and mysterious – EarRelevant). Also featured is the magnificent Trio Opus 45 (1856) by the great 19th
century composer Louise Farrenc. She was professor at the Paris Conservatory from 1842 to 1873, a renowned concert pianist, and an esteemed composer, acclaimed in her time but rarely heard today. The concert finale is Sonata for Flute, Viola and Piano (1976), a thrilling piece by Mexican composer Eduardo Angulo.&nbsp; The concert, held in the beautiful sanctuary of Glenview Community Church, is free and open to the public.
