Donald J. Galassini, 83, of Northbrook, IL passed away September 5, 2015. Korean War Veteran. Beloved husband of Norma; loving father of Donna (Ken) Bauer & Patty (Bud) Rothing; cherished grandfather of Max Bauer, Christopher (Karli) Rothing & Katie (Eric) Tucker; treasured great grandfather of Henry & Charlie; dear brother of Bob (Caryl) Galassini. A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 4 to 8 pm at Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Road, Highland Park, IL. A mass will be held Thursday, September 10, 2015, 10 am at St. Norbert Church, 1809 Walters Ave., Northbrook, IL. Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery, Northbrook, IL.
