Northbrook Obituary: Patricia M. Baker nee Nelson, 85

Patricia M. Baker, nee Nelson, age 85, former longtime resident of Northbrook. Beloved wife for 50 years of the late Charles; loving mother of Dr. Mary Baker and Patricia (Donald Jr.) Faber; devoted grandmother of Dr. Jessica (Timothy) Hockett, Patricia (Stephen) Hupp, and Dr. Kelly Faber; great grandmother of Luke, Emma, and Mary Hupp, and Mason and Harley Hockett; dear cousin of Marilyn (Rev. George) Rice; cherished friend of Gunnell (James) Brunsell. Mrs. Baker taught Eighth Grade at Funston School in Chicago and was in the English Department at Glenbrook North High School in Northbrook. She was a longtime member of Northbrook United Methodist Church. She will be remembered as a gracious hostess and baker extraordinaire.

Visitation Monday, July 6, 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd. at Old Orchard Rd., Skokie, IL 60077, and Tuesday 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 10:30 a.m., at Northbrook United Methodist Church, 1190 Western Ave., Northbrook, IL 60062.

Interment Private, Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northbrook United Methodist Church, or the Charles R. and Patricia M. Baker Pharmacy Scholarship at Purdue University College of Pharmacy.
