Northbrook Park District Launches 'Dodgeball Duos Night' For Families

The new event offers parents and children a chance to team up for friendly indoor dodgeball games, followed by pizza and refreshments.

NORTHBROOK, IL — The Northbrook Park District is set to debut a new event next month. "Dodgeball Duos Night" is intended for parents and children, aged 5 and up, to form teams for indoor dodgeball games. All skill levels are welcome to participate in the action-packed evening, scheduled for Saturday, March 14.

According to organizers, participants can enjoy pizza and refreshments after the dodgeball games conclude. They say the event aims to provide a fun, family-oriented activity for the community.

"'Dodgeball Duos Night' is a great night to enjoy an activity that anyone can play," said Jeremy Goedeke, NPD recreation supervisor. Recreation Supervisor "Families can spend meaningful time together, bonding while having fun, and meet some new friends through dodgeball."

"Dodgeball Duos Night" will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. March 14, in the gym of Techny Prairie Activity Center, located at 180 Anets Drive in Northbrook. Registration costs $15 per couple for residents and $19 for nonresidents. Additional children can register for $9 each for residents and $15 each for nonresidents.
