Northbrook Park District: Techny Road Detour Begins Soon

Patrons of Techny Prairie Activity Center will see a temporary road detour for about 10 days due to maintenance work by Metra.
Starting the morning of Monday, April 28, Metra will perform the work at the railroad crossing on Techny Road, just west of Anets Drive.

This project will require a full closure of Techny Road between Anets Drive and Kingsley Circle for approximately 10 days. Sidewalks and bike lanes will be closed at the crossing during construction.
Techny Road east of Anets Drive will remain open to traffic.
The work is expected to be completed by Wednesday, May 7.
