Northbrook Preschoolers Bury Time Capsule To Celebrate Anniversary
The Gardner School of Glenview-Northbrook has been in operation on the North Shore for the past decade.

NORTHBROOK, IL — As part of a week-long celebration, preschoolers at The Gardner School of Glenview-Northbrook recently participated in a time capsule burial ceremony. The event was held as the school reached a milestone of being in operation for 10 years.
According to officials, 50 pre-K students at the 2380 Waterview Drive school were asked to create mementos reflecting their favorite memories and experiences to place inside the time capsule. The collection of handwritten letters and colorful drawings will remain undisturbed for the next 10 years until it is uncovered to celebrate the school's 20th anniversary.
"We know that every moment we have with our students is a privilege, and the time capsule will serve as a constant reminder of every special child who has walked through our doors," said Allison Deutsch, executive director.
