Blair Davis, Associate Professor of Media Studies at DePaul will discuss the long history of Hollywood adaptations of literary horror stories and how popular movie monsters have been put to the page.

Ghost Trio (Piano, Violin & Cello) (Virtual)

Enjoy the perfect Halloween concert featuring a talented performance of Beethoven’s s Piano Trio in D Major, Op. 70, No. 1, nicknamed the “Ghost" Trio” and Levinson’s “Dybbuk.” Beethoven's "Ghost" Trio has been named some of the eeriest, strange, and terrifying music ever written, and Levinson's Dybbuk is a named after a malevolent wandering spirit that enters and possesses the body of a living person until exorcized.
