Northbrook Railroad Crossing Will Be Closed Next Week
The Union Pacific Railroad will be reconstructing the crossing at Dundee Road in Northbrook (near Fire Station 11).

The Union Pacific Railroad will be reconstructing the crossing at Dundee Road in Northbrook (near Fire Station 11). This work, which was originally scheduled for August 15-19, will now be taking place September 26-30.

A full closure of Dundee Road at the railroad crossing will be in place during the scheduled timeframe. Traffic will be detoured from Dundee Road to Lake Cook Road using Skokie Boulevard and Waukegan Road.
Message boards will be placed near the location in advance to notify drivers.
