Northbrook’s Senior Center Set To Host Open House With Free Gifts
The Northbrook Park District said the event will highlight programs and activities at the center.

NORTHBROOK, IL — If you've ever wondered what goes on at the Northbrook Senior Center, or want to just learn more about it, the Northbrook Park District is hosting an upcoming open house. The "Senior Showcase" event is planned for 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at 3323 Walters Ave.
According to the park district, seniors will be able to get to know staff members, interact with service providers, enjoy social time with community members, and meet our sponsor organizations.
Attendees can also meet Nancy Eschker, who was recently promoted to recreation manager for the Northbrook Park District and now oversees operations and activities at the Senior Center. Nancy has been a valuable member of the district's team for over five years.

"The Senior Center is a warm and receptive community that embraces all seniors," Northbrook Park District Superintendent of Arts and Recreation Erin Sweet said. "Building community is really important to what we do here, and we are happy that our facility offers a variety of opportunities to bring people together at the Senior Center."
The event is free, but registration is required to receive a gift. To register, visit here, click on “registration” and enter code 21521. Attendees will be given a passport to encourage visiting all booths and activities throughout the building. Light refreshments will be served.
