Northbrook Symphony Ready For 42nd Season
The Northbrook Symphony opens its season on Sunday, Oct. 10, featuring Vivaldi's Four Seasons with Robert Chen.

NORTHBROOK, IL — The Northbook Symphony is set to begin its 42nd season next month. Before the music begins, a cocktail reception is planned for 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 3, at the Sunset Ridge Country Club in Northfield.
In attendance, according to a news release, will be Robert Chen, the Chicago Symphony Concertmaster, who was recently announced as the Northbrook Symphony artistic creative partner starting in the 2021-2022 season. Also attending will be Mina Zikri, music director, and Symphony Board members.
The Northbrook Symphony, with Zikri as conductor, officially opens its season on Sunday, Oct. 10 featuring Vivaldi’s Four Seasons with Chen. In his role as artistic creative partner, Chen will perform as a soloist during the season, run a violin masterclass, advise with programming, and participate in the Symphony’s community activities. This live performance will take place at the Sheely Center for Performing Arts, Northbrook.

Tickets for the reception and season subscriptions/single tickets are available at Symphony’s website www.northbrooksymphony.org Children 6 to 17 years old receive a complimentary season subscription when accompanied by a ticket holding adult.
