Northbrook Woman Accused of Using FedEx to Ship Drugs
The 30-year-old faces a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

A Northbrook woman has been charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in connection with an investigation into narcotics being sent across state lines via FedEx.
Northbrook police began the investigation after receiving a tip from FedEx officials, according to the Northbrook Star. The investigation ended with the arrest of Jorie L. Kotowsky, 30, of the 3100 block of Pheasant Creek late last month.
Kotowsky - who allegedly had been prescribed 240 hydromorphone pills weighing about 36 grams - is accused of sending that amount to a man in California.
