Obituary: Roberta 'Bunny' Oberlander, 76
Services for the founding member of the Darchie Noam of Glenbrook synagogue will be held Friday in Buffalo Grove.

Roberta "Bunny" Oberlander née Perline beloved wife, best friend and life partner of Mark Oberlander, passed away at 76 on Jan. 3. Bunny was the loving mother, mother-in-law of Sami (Moshe Agam) Oberlander, the late Mitchell Benjamin Oberlander of blessed memory and Michael (Sima) Oberlander and grandmother of Mati, Maayan and Tali Agam, and Noah, Naomi, Eitan and Ilana Oberlander.
Oberlander was the cherished daughter of the late Seymour and the late Rose Perline and daughter-in-law of the late Paul and the late Sally Oberlander. She was a lifelong member of Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, National Council of Jewish Women and proud founding member of Darchei Noam of Glenbrook.
The joy of her life was the growth and development of her seven grandchildren and celebrating their outstanding accomplishments. She loved reading books of all kinds, especially mysteries, and outscoring from her couch even the best Jeopardy! champions.

In the past two years, she loved designing her new home, exemplifying her fine tastes and good judgment. She will be dearly missed by her many lifelong friends and the newer ones she made.
Services will be held Friday at 7 a.m. at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove. Interment Shalom.
