One person is dead following a house fire early Sunday in Northbrook, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Firefighters were called to the home in the 1300 block of Edgewood Lane where they found one person dead inside.
Neighbors told NBC Chicago that an elderly couple lived at the home and they believe the woman was able to escape but the man died in the blaze.
The blaze remains under investigation.
