Two Dead, Three Hurt After Fatal Crash in Northbrook

A 91-year-old woman and 93-year-old man are dead and three others are injured following a fatal car crash in unincorporated Northbrook on Christmas Day.

The Chicago Tribune reported early Friday morning that Betty Jorgensen, of the 1800 block of Mission Hills Road, was pronounced dead at 11:56 p.m. Thursday after being taken to Glenbrook Hospital. The accident occurred around 7 p.m. near the intersection of Sanders and North Mission Hills roads, a Northbrook Fire Department official informed the Tribune via a statement.

The man’s name has yet to be made public as of 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Two others were in critical condition at that time and one was listed as stable.
