Don’t have plans for Valentine’s Day? Have you swiped left too many times? Well, ditch the dating app and foster a dog! Orphans of the Storm (OOTS) in Riverwoods is reintroducing its temporary foster program in honor of Valentine’s Day.

The short-term foster program, “Paws for Love,” has a minimum three-day foster commitment (no strings attached), with animals going to their foster homes starting this Friday, February 10.

“Alongside this event, we will also be waiving fees for all our single-pet-home animals! While these pets may need to ride solo, they will be the best co-pilot you’ve ever had! So, take one of them for a spin— you might not want to drop them back off”, said Sandy De Lisle, Head of Development and Community Engagement, OOTS.
