Pedestrian, 69, Found Dead Following Hit-And-Run In Northbrook: Police

NORTHBROOK, IL — A male was found dead early Thursday morning, an apparent victim of a hit-and-run incident, according to police.

Northbrook police were called to the 2900 block of Shermer Road for a report of a deceased male. According to a news release, police arrived on scene and secured the area. Investigators are working to determine the circumstances of the person's death, but have confirmed that he was struck by a vehicle while on foot. Police said the vehicle did not remain on the scene.
