36-Year-Old Man Found Dead Inside His Northbrook Office
A death investigation began after police responded to a well-being check on Shermer Road on Wednesday.
NORTHBROOK, IL - A 36-year-old man was found dead inside a Northbrook office building this week.
Officers found the man deceased when they responded to a well-being check in the 1300 block of Shermer Road on Wednesday, according to a report from the Northbrook Star.
The village has identified the victim as Jigar K. Patel, who was found dead inside his office.

A tenant of the building said police closed off the third floor of the building and were checking thoroughly everyone entering the building.
"It's a little scary,” the tenant told the Star. “This is a building that's a little different. It's an open-door facility. Anybody can go in or out."
