Police Investigating Robbery, Forceful Assault
The Northbrook Police Department is continuing an investigation into a reported robbery and assault Saturday night, May 2, in Northbrook.

NORTHBROOK, IL — A person is recovering from an injury to the head following a reported robbery and assault Saturday night, May 2, in the 2900 block of Harbor Lane. According to the Northbrook Police Department, the alleged incident occurred at around 6 p.m. No arrests had been made at press time for this story.
"[The victim] told us [they] had been in a struggle with several individuals and suffered a minor injury to the head," Deputy Police Chief Dan Strickland told Patch. "[They] refused a transport to the hospital."
According to police, the victim told them that several items had been stolen from their vehicle by force. Strickland said the investigation is ongoing and "a lot of people have been pulled in to work it." He confirmed that a search had been conducted in nearby Greenfield Park.
