Porsche Stolen From Driveway; Police Forced to End Chase
A man on Voltz Road say he saw people in his driveway minutes before they bolted with his car.

NORTHBROOK, IL - Police were forced to end a chase with a stolen vehicle due to high speeds and severe weather conditions last week.
The cops were called around 4:17 a.m. on Dec. 20 to a call from a man in the 1500 block of Voltz Road who said his 2004 Porsche Cayenne was stolen from his driveway. The caller said he awoke around 4:10 a.m. to the sound of his dogs barking and noticed "some individuals" in his driveway, according to a police report.
A few minutes later, the man heard - and then saw - his car being driven away from his house.

Police say they spotted the vehicle at Founders and Willow roads and initiated a chase when it went eastbound on Willow and then southbound on the Edens Expressway.
The chase was stopped at I-94 and Skokie Highway due to the speed and weather.
