Repairs Scheduled For Waukegan Road In Northbrook

NORTHBROOK, IL — Motorist headed north on Waukegan Road north of Shermer can expect a reduced roadway this week. Beginning Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., there will be only one lane of northbound traffic, according to the Northbrook Public Works department. The closures will remain in effect until Thursday at 3 p.m.

Crews will be repairing the street and water mains, and drivers have been asked to use extra caution during the road work.

In case of inclement weather, the project will be rescheduled for Thursday through Friday, according to Northbrook officials.
