Small Fire at Assisted Living Facility Put Out Quickly

The fire was contained before crews arrived. No injuries and damage was minimal.

Northbrook fire units responded to a call of a small fire in one of the rooms of an assisted care facility in the 200 block of Skokie Boulevard Friday morning.

The fire was put out shortly before crews arrived at 11 a.m. No one was injured. Fire and smoke damage was minimal.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
