Stanley Cup Helps Raise Funds for Non-Profits in Northbrook

"Funraiser" at St. Norbert Church helps support the Northfield Township Food Pantry and EASING.

A “funraiser” in which fans were able to take photos and touch the Cup raised more than $10,000 for a pair of good causes - the Northfield Township Food Pantry and EASING - at Saint Norbert Parish Church, according to coverage from the Daily North Shore.

EASING is an organization started by the Northbrook Clergy Association that helps people in Northbrook and Glenview in need.

The Cup was brought to Northbrook by an anonymous member of the Chicago Blackhawks. Each member of the winning Stanley Cup team is allowed one day with the Cup. The Cup travels 320 days a year.
