Stolen Dog Found Safe at Glenbrook Hospital
Mr. Reese was found Tuesday morning after a day of intense media coverage.
A dog who was stolen from the Heartland Animal Shelter was found at Glenbrook Hospital on Tuesday.
Mr. Reese, an 8-year-old Jack Russell terrier mix, was found by a nurse and turned over to authorities, who in turned brought the dog to Carriage Hill Kennels - according to the Glenview Announcements.
Animal Hospital volunteers credit a day of intense media coverage for finding the dog, who was likely dropped off at the hospital by the thief.

“I think (the thief) saw all the news, and got nervous,” volunteer Janice Greenberg said.
Heartland is trying to find the nurse who found Mr. Reese to give her the $1,000 reward the shelter promised.
