String Of Overnight Commercial Burglaries Reported: Northbrook Police
Officers responded to a burglar alarm early Monday morning, finding several businesses with shattered front doors.

NORTHBROOK, IL — Following a string of overnight commercial burglaries Monday, Northbrook police released surveillance footage of three men involved. According to police, the burglaries occurred between 2:30 a.m. and 3 a.m. in the 800 Block of Waukegan Road and the 2800 Block of Dundee Road.
While responding to a burglar alarm, police found the front doors of several businesses shattered. Surveillance footage from one of the businesses shows three men shattering the front door, entering the business and fleeing in an unknown direction with the proceeds.
The Northbrook Police Department is working with surrounding agencies regarding a similar pattern of commercial burglaries. The investigations unit is currently reviewing surveillance camera footage for any additional information.

"We want to remind businesses to remove and/or secure all valuables that are visible and ensure that cash registers are cleared and left open," Police Chief Christopher Kennedy said in a statement. "These small steps can help prevent businesses from being targeted."
