Subway Robbed by Man Who Implied Weapon: Cops

NORTHBROOK, IL - A man who robbed the Subway restaurant on Dundee Road on Thursday threatened to shoot an employee if he did not comply with his demand for money.

The victim told police a white man between 40-50 years old, 200 pounds and wearing a blue sports cap, green hoodie and tan pants entered the store at 4:35 p.m., according to a police report.

A weapon was implied, but not displayed.

The man who robbed the store ran southbound after making off with an undetermined amount of money.
