Sweatpants Stolen From Saks Fifth: Cops
Jewelry, laptop taken in business burglary on Dundee Road.

SUSPENDED DRIVER’S LICENSE
Martin Naves, 18, Wheeling was stopped at Dundee Rd. and Anthony Trail at 6:34 p.m. on Jan. 28 and cited for having expired registration, no insurance and driving while license suspended.

WARRANT SERVICE
Jose C. Aguire, 48, Palatine was charged on a McLean County warrant for aggravated DUI at 7:31 p.m. on Jan. 28 in the 1400 block of Landwehr Rd. The defendant turned himself in at the police station.

WARRANT ARREST
Richard L. Dick, 64, Rockford was stopped at Dundee and Landwehr roads at 1:08 p.m. on Jan. 30 and arrested on a DuPage County warrant for driving under the influence.
SUSPENDED/REVOKED DRIVER’S LICENSE
Andrew P. Fountain, 33, Chicago was stopped in the 1000 block of Willow Rd. at 1:20 a.m. on Jan. 31 and charged with expired registration and suspended license.
RETAIL THEFT
The complainant, the store loss prevention agent, reported that an offender left the store without paying for a blue Mark New York coat and a pair of tan sweatpants between noon and 12:35 p.m. on Feb. 1 at Saks Fifth, 100 block of Skokie Blvd. The offender is described as a male mid to late 20’s, with a shaved head and a beard wearing earrings. He entered a small blue vehicle and exited the lot onto Skokie Hwy. The total loss in merchandise is approximately $350.
BURGLARY
A citizen in the 4100 block of Dundee Rd. reported that when she approached the business on Feb. 3 to make an appointment she found the front door ajar and a window smashed out. The business owner reported that the employees had locked the business at 7 p.m. the previous night. The owner reported that an unknown amount of currency, a laptop computer, and a small piece of jewelry were missing from the business.
