TeachQuest Settles with Facebook
The Northbrook-based education website, formally known as Teachbook and sued by Facebook for its name, has settled with the social media giant.

Formally Teachbook, . Teachbook has since changed its name to "TeachQuest" as part of a settlement with Facebook, according to a joint statement released by the companies.
“We are pleased to announce that Facebook and Teachbook have arrived at an agreement that resolves Facebook’s trademark infringement lawsuit and allows for Teachbook’s continued operation under a new name," the statement reads. "Under this agreement, Teachbook has changed its name to ‘TeachQuest’. Facebook and Teachbook are pleased to put this dispute behind them.”

According to TheDomains, a site devoted to web industry news, the TeachQuest domain name was purchased for $1,950 last October.
TeachQuest recently released a social lesson plan program called Planbook that lets teachers create and share lesson plans online.

TeachQuest was founded in 2009 under the name Teachbook in Northbrook by Greg Shrader.
