Trampoline Slashed in Woman's Backyard: Cops

A Vernon Hills woman allegedly stole a Tony Burch women's jumpsuit from a business on Lake Cook Road.

The following information is from the Northbrook Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

RETAIL THEFT

Olga Ulitsky, 62, Vernon Hills was charged with retail theft at 4:49 p.m. on September 17 in the 1500 block of Lake Cook Road. The defendant was observed by store security placing a Tony Burch women’s jumpsuit into her shopping bag. The defendant was later observed exiting the store past the last point of sale into the Mall. She was detained by loss prevention until officers arrived.

SUSPENDED DRIVER’S LICENSE

Ezequiel Quintana Jr., 32, Summitt was stopped at Willow and Pfingsten roads at 10:59 a.m. on September 22 and charged with expired registration, no insurance and having a suspended Illinois driver’s license. Officers stopped the defendant’s vehicle for a traffic violation.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

A victim in the 2200 block of Dehne Rd. reported discovering that an offender using a cutting instrument put five slash cuts in the base of her trampoline some time between 8 p.m. on September 22 and 9:30 a.m. on September 23. The trampoline was located in the backyard of the residence. The damage was estimated at $300.

SUSPENDED DRIVER’S LICENSE

Clemente Trejo, 35, Waukegan was stopped at Dundee and Waukegan roads at 1:44 p.m. on September 23 and charged with driving while driver’s license suspended and using an electronic device while driving.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE

A complainant in the 900 block of Willow Road reported that someone removed four sports related magnets from his vehicle during the night from September 23-24 while the vehicle was parked in the rear of the business. The magnets estimated cost is $40.
