Truck Catches Fire on Tri-State
Northbrook fire units had the blaze put out quickly, but traffic delays lasted for two hours on Tuesday.
NORTHBROOK, IL - A truck caught fire in the southbound lanes of the Tri-State Tollway near the Willow Road exit on Tuesday.
No injuries were reported as Northbrook fire crews arrived in time to contain the fire to the tractor.
Traffic delays lasted about two hours until the truck was removed from the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
