UPS Package Stolen From Front Door: Police

The following information was submitted by the Northbrook Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

THEFT

A victim reported that offenders stole a package from her front door in the 1800 block of Maple Ave. on Wednesday December 17. The package was delivered by UPS, which the victim verified by the tracking number. The package contained a $125 purse from Nordstrom.

BURGLARY TO AUTO

A victim reported that offenders broke the rear passenger window of her 2011 Toyota Camry and removed a garbage bag which resembled a purse and Sony DVD player in the 900 bloock of Skokie Hwy. The victim estimated the loss of the property and replacement of the window will cost more than $500.

THEFT

A restaurant manager in the 1000 block of Willow Rd. related that a male and female left the restaurant without paying for a $25.31 meal they had ordered. Both subjects were last observed running through the parking lot.
