Viewfinder: Free Skating and Fresh Air

Northbrook, Northfield and Deerfield offer seven outdoor ice rinks open to the public, free of charge, for family skating, figure skating and hockey.

Whether for fitness, a family skate, after-school activity, pick-up hockey, triple-axle practice or a romantic date, public ice rinks in the area offer fresh air and fun. You might even feel like you're part of the NHL's Winter Classic or skating on a pond in Canada!
